4Networking

Since I joined 4Networking in 2008, when I launched Harrogate and York groups, it has become a huge part of my life. As Regional Leader many people say to me that I spend a lot of time working for 4N and when do I get time for TLC Business Supplies. The answer of course is that I don’t do the networking for 4N but for TLC and in many ways I’m using my time and fuel twice.

So why is it worth all the investment in time and energy that I put into it?

We all join 4Networking to grow our business’s but actually what I’ve had out of it has been much much more than that. Confidence, Self Belief, Presentation Skills, Leadership Skills, Interpersonal Skills have all played a part in making a huge difference to me and as a result of that, to our business. The knowledge I’ve gained from listening to 4sights and mixing with positive business people is worth so much that it’s difficult to put a price on it. I also never feel a pratt asking about stuff that I don’t know because those around me never make me feel that way. I even remember asking on the 4N forum, “what is Twitter” and so another huge part of my life began. Hello my name is Tom Lawrence and I’m a Twitaholic. Oops wrong meeting.

I have also used many suppliers that I have met through 4Networking. The connectivity of 4N makes sure that when you do a great job for someone the whole Network hears about it. The converse is also true which means that there is a certain assurance that a 4N member will do their best to make sure the job is up to scratch. This tends to weed out the poor performers but you can always check out members testimonials to see what the position is with any given supplier.

I’m sorry if I sound like I’m preaching or even God forbid being evangelical but you know what it’s difficult not to. The tools that are available through 4N are so powerful if used in the correct way. Just this week, through a great collaboration with John Raine, we have opened a new office in the South West and things are moving ahead nicely to work with a team of Power Brokers Nation Wide.

I’m almost two and a half years into my 4N journey, success didn’t happen overnight, and I still feel very lucky and privileged to be involved to such a degree and for that I’m thankful but you know what, the journey has only just began.  If you have just started your journey into 4N then please grab all that it has to offer and make the most of your investment. Believe me, success will come you just have to keep faith.
