Why should SMEs get ISO certification?

The Government recently launched a new service called 'Contracts Finder' to provide access to Government contracts to SMEs. However, ISO Certification is required to qualify, and this can prove to be costly. Consequnetly SMEs are missing out on these opportunities due to the cost of certification.
