Editor: Mark Beaumont-Thomas

My role as Editor of 4community magazine is to filter the articles submitted, edit them to fit the space, polish them for grammar and typos and ensure the magazine is varied and interesting. I also write a number of feature articles in the magazine and all the buzz stories.

The other crucial part of putting the magazine together is sorting out the design, which is handled by Paul Williams at Extrabold Design. The high quality print is organised by Robin Parker. Finally, the whole thing is overseen by the watchful eye of our Managing Editor, Brad Burton.

I am an active 4Ner and have been a Group Leader since 2007, currently for 4N Sheffield group, which recently celebrated its second birthday. Follow the 2 Sheffield groups on twitter, @4NSheffield and @4NMeadowhall.

Issue 4 Is Out Now!

4community magazine stands or falls by the quality of the articles from 4Networking members and in issue 4 there are full page articles from 25 4Ners and interesting buzz stories about a further 15. In total, over 70 4Ners are featured in the magazine!

4community magazine from 4Networking

4community is a full colour A5 68 page magazine. It's a showcase for the diversity of talent, skills, expertise and interests of the 4Networking membership.

All articles are written by 4Networking members. To have an article published you need to be a full paid-up member of 4Networking.

The magazine also offers the opportunity to advertise to the 4Networking readership and to a wider audience of small businesses across the UK.

4community magazine is published approx every six months and is distributed free of charge at 300+ 4Networking breakfast groups across the UK. It is also available at a wide range of regional business exhibitions throughout the year.

This is not a magazine filled with bland advertorials or general articles which just state the obvious. The intention is to provide detailed useful information which most owners of small companies can use to help them run their businesses more effectively.
